FreshWater IQ is an in-line, self-monitoring salt system that tells you what it needs to maintain clean, natural-feeling water, with less time and effort. Because we believe your hot tub should take care of you, not the other way around.
How It Works = Salt System + Smart Monitoring System
The Freshwater Salt System automatically generates chlorine from salt to keep your spa water feeling naturally fresh and ready to enjoy. The Smart Monitoring System automatically tests your water every hour and provides clear instructions when adjustments are needed for clean water.
Made for Caldera® Spas, FreshWater IQ comes standard on all 2024 and newer Utopia® Series spas and is an available option on 2024 and newer Paradise® Series spas.

FAQs…
Isn’t Salt Water bad for the environment around the spa or the spa itself ?
This is unlike the ocean air. This does not get ‘airborne’ like that does. The ocean also have 35,000 parts per million (ppm) while your caldera spa will have about 2000ppm or 1/16 the salt and therefore is not near as corrosive. They have also had saltwater tubs for over 10 years so Caldera has “perfected” it and the saltwater tubs have Calderas LONGEST end-to-end warranty on them so you can have piece of mind there won’t be any issues. I don’t want to feel salty or have my eyes burn when I use it…
It actually has healing properties, doesn’t irritate skin like normal chlorine/bromine do and makes your skin softer versus feeling the chemicals when you get out. With that low of salt content, you also wont have the salt residue or eye burn you would have like you get in the ocean. As a reference, we build about 95% of our pools each year now with saltwater and that has 3000ppm and still doesn’t have issues. Come to our showroom and FEEL the difference!!!
